New Stuff

0 min read
Will hopefully be putting up some new photography within the next couple of weeks. I went to Cornwall a couple of weeks back and got some brilliant photos. Unfortunately I ended up missing out on a fair few photo opportunities, but I got some great pics of the Trethevy Quoit at St. Cleer. And a couple of pics of King Doniert's Stone on Bodmin Moor. Kind of never stuck to my plan of one pencil sketch a week. Too lazy I guess.

Just seen water soluble oil paint. What's up with that? Are they any good? I've never used oils before and I want to get a small set to start practicing, but I don't know if they would be worth using. The funny thing is that you can buy a thinner for use with water soluble oils...surely it's just a pot of water?!

Tweeting Mad

0 min read
I have succumbed to peer pressure...or curiosity...or both, and have signed up to Twitter. It's all very strange and new. Now, I know I can have my tweets up on my deviantART profile, but this is only available to subscribers and, alas, I am too poor to subscribe. Not that it's all too pricey, but right now I have no income. So if anyone wants to follow me (please do, I have no followers which leaves me feeling hollow and alone - lol) my username is miss (https://www.deviantart.com/miss)_shazzy. I don't reckon that it'll be too much about the art, as I have already broken my vow of creating one new pencil drawing per week (said it wouldn't last long), but that doesn't mean

hiya ^^
to combat smudging I would advise to rest ur drawing hand on a piece of paper ^^

I'm really surprised the Twilight bug hasn't got u yet ^^
Such a simple solution, and yet it's never occurred to me lol. Cheers for that!

I'm pretty stubborn when it comes to literature, and I refuse to read these books purely for the fact that everyone else is. I'm not saying that they're not good, but it seems to me that the books are only getting so much hype because of the movies and the so-called man-candy that stars in them hehehe.
